Tonja’s business skill set was formed at the start of her career by great leaders and mentors like Richard Mundt and Antoinette Benevento. Her success lead her to record breaking results as an instructor with the Fred Astaire organization then on to supervising & managing small staffs all the way to managing and leading one studio in Manhattan to a 1.6 million dollar status then yet another to a 2 million dollar status. The adventure did not stop there! She was appointed the National Training Director of Dance With Me a growing social dance studio chain. She wrote training manuals for all departments and oversaw and implemented successful systems in all studios. Following the natural path, her deep desire, genuine love for this industry and ballroom dancing she is now offering her knowledge, experience, and training with everyone.
Being just as knowledgable on the dance side of our industry makes her extremely versatile. Certified in both the American and International styles as well as achieving a finalist status as a Professional Smooth competitor on the NDCA circuit in 2007, 2008 and again in 2013, Tonja can relate and connect to instructors on various levels as well as be utilized as coach for any of your students no matter what program, performance or competition they are working towards.
